My Job - Your Job - Animal Keeper - South Africa
The animal keepers Steffi and Jessy from Deggendorf travel to South Africa. While they work at home on a sanctuary with domestic animals, they are allowed to help with the rescue and reintroduction of African penguins in Cape Town. Working with injured or weak seabirds is a completely new experience for them, which especially pushes Steffi to her limits. The South Africans Kyle and Andile experience first hand that one builds up a very close bond with the animals on a sanctuary. They work with ponies, donkeys and sheep for the first time. Mucking out the stalls becomes a challenge.
